This 5 km walk starts in Nydalen—one of Oslo’s key urban development areas—and takes you from bridge to bridge along the Akerselva River. The route ends at Ankerbrua Bridge, also known as the "Fairytale Bridge," which is famous for its spectacular sculptures. The bridge is located in Grünerløkka—Oslo’s trendiest district, known for its multicultural atmosphere and vibrant urban life. Along the way, you will see a surprising mix of old factory buildings and modern homes, as well as high-rises featuring innovative technological solutions and sustainable environmental measures.
The tour is accessible by public transport, and you can reach the starting point by bus, train or metro (subway).
