We explore the industrial history of Oslo and green spaces of the river, its waterfalls, as well as the lifestyle of this cosmopolitan city.
We jump on the metro with our bikes, to go to the upper river, and from there we start riding through forest and parks, as locals do. We go downhill towards the fjord, and we visit beautiful waterfalls, and the traces of the industrial revolution that changed completely the city. Recently the buildings were renovated as schools, art ateliers and markets. The east became the bohemian, alternative and hipster side. On our way we find old wooden houses, street art and other hidden gems, as the oldest building standing in Oslo. Back in the center and facing the fjord, the modern Bjørvika, with its new residences, public buildings, restaurants and new activities for both, locals and visitors.
