About this experience

Fram, Kon Tiki, and Folk museum, and the forest and beaches of Bygdøy

Bygdøy peninsula combines a natural reserve and some of the most interesting museums in Oslo. We can do this tour with public transportation or by bike, which will allow us get to the forests and some small sandy beaches, where locals enjoy the summer warm days.

On the way we can visit the Folk museum, and open air park, with buildings from all over the country, where we will understand how Norwegians used to live, as well as their costumes, meals, music and dances.

Since Viking's times, Norwegians have been explorers. At the Fram museum, we learns about the expeditions to the Northern and Southern poles, their discoveries and life onboard.

The Kon Tiki museum, is home of the rafts built by the adventurer Thor Heyerdahl to cross the oceans and connect different worlds and cultures.

We jump on the ferry to return to the center, or return by bike.
