My name is Tiago and I am a certified tour guide working in all of the North of Portugal as well as the Aveiro region. Though I am now based in the city of Porto, I was born and raised in Viana do Castelo, and being from the Minho region, a bastion of portuguese tradition and folklore, generated in me an ever-growing fascination for local and regional cultures. I love to talk about local food, local handicrafts, and local customs, but I am also a history lover and I love to uncover the history of Portugal in my tours through the North of Portugal. Far from a dead affair, in Portugal history is a living thing - and particularly so in Porto, where every other street offers centuries old businesses and where the customs of the city's people are often centuries old.
